RABT's schooling field offers a mix of solid obstacles and stadium jumps that make it easy to set up a large variety of cross-country exercises, including a water complex, bank, and ditches. Our goal is to create an inviting and functional schooling facility that is ideal for both green and experienced event horses and riders in Southern Maine. We also offer an opportunity to ride without jumping, or to make use of our large sand ring.
You must call ahead to book a time to ride or school. We reserve the right to close the grounds if conditions are not suitable for riding (be sure to leave a phone number when you reserve your time so we can call if conditions are bad). The course is closed to schooling on clinic weekends.

Please Keep in Mind:
A helmet, vest and ground person are required when schooling cross-country.
A helmet is required at all times when mounted.
A signed 2010 release form and copy of your current Coggins are required of all riders and horses. If you are under 18, your form must be signed by a parent or guardian.
Please ride only on mowed areas/paths. Any areas with flags or tape are off-limits.
Inform us if you fall (even if you landed on your feet).
You are responsible for what you choose to jump, have your ground person check the jump for size and safety before you jump it. If you see any holes or unsafe jumps tell us so we can fix them.
There is a hose by the wash rack at the back of the barn for drinking and washing the horses, we would prefer outside horses not come in the barn.
